Norwalk Hospital: 600+ page Ektron 400 CMS based website converted to WordPress website

Project: Work with web developers on new site map and strategy to create a more streamlined site on a WordPress platform. Web developers managed the wire framing and code to develop an agreeable templates. Our task was to build the site on the templates provided, with new banner images, images throughout the website to support biographies, and content messaging, linking internal pages, linking to relevant external links, placing analytical code, building taxonomy, calendar development, developing library for video and linking and managing new content.

ONSMD.COM – had previously been built on a WordPress platform.

Project: overhaul website for ease of navigation, activate blog, update calendar and copy, install links to new patient portal and other internal/external links. Manipulate and replace photos, develop categories and taxonomy for better search features.

This was accomplished in the current CMS with a thematic change, where new physician biographies and images were edited/developed, uploaded and linked under specific physician specialties. New images were developed throughout the site with some stock photography, but also planning, attending and assisting on location shoots with patients and physicians to develop and replace images and tell success stories.

The blog feature was updated and new blog posts were developed with physician input, research to cite claims and edited before uploading and linking to social channels.

An event calendar was activated or physician “Health Talks” meant to educate the public on surgical procedures they might be interested in but needed further information about.

The See4 Process Solutions website was developed after the logo was completed and copy written. The images were selected based on textile and manufacturing and processes. Using a green and grey color pallet this site has the option to increase functionality on the back end for blogging, gallery and more, if the company decides to turn those features on and make it a more interactive site. We built this site with growth in mind.

UperfectingU – Motivational speaker, Francine Dixon, was seeking a simplistic website targeted toward her audience of teen to adult women. She envisioned a logo with a butterfly and use of purple, both having great significance to the goal: to reach teen girls and women teaching them how to free themselves from negative thinking and self destruction and to teach the skills to change their focus and start a new life. She requested the use of a feminine color pallet, mainly female images and a delicate butterfly logo to convey a calm and serene look and feel. This site is simple enough on the back end for the client to manage and if new development is needed Artist’s Touch is available to make more intense changes.

Most practicing physicians only need as much as this unless they belong to a larger group. This website is built on a manageable template hosted where his domain was previously set up.
